STASIA VIATORVP of Operations and Marketing
Stasia Viator serves as the Vice President of Operations and Marketing as well as Client Relations Manager for Texas State Billing Services. Additionally, Stasia works alongside her team to provide expert service and support for our East Texas district partners. Born and raised in Austin, TX, Stasia moved to Huntsville to pursue higher education at Sam Houston State University. After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Spanish, she came to work for TSBS in November 2003. Creating strong and lasting relationships with our clients is something Stasia puts as her highest career accomplishment. Leading the staff at TSBS, Stasia remains true in her beliefs that exceptional service and consultative care are instrumental in the success of our clients’ SHARS programs.
ROBBIE EWENVP of Finance and Human Resources
Originally from Charleston, SC, Robbie Ewen joined TSBS in 2010. He currently serves as Vice President of Human Resources & Finance as well as managing TSBS’s business relationships and providing guidance to the technology department. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida State University with a minor in Business. Before coming to TSBS, he worked in the public sector teaching Medicare and Medicaid for the State of Florida and then in the private sector for an HR outsourcing and benefits software development firm. Robbie holds multiple professional certifications in human resources.
LAUREN ALLGOODOperations Manager
As a principal contributor in the financial success of TSBS, Austin native, Lauren Allgood, serves as both Operations Manager and Program Director of many central Texas districts’ clients. By joining TSBS in October 2005 and accumulating extensive experience in SHARS billing and consulting, Lauren combines a full array of business and personnel skills to create and oversee the highest level of efficiency in support of the firm’s business strategy.
AMBER PAIGERegional Sales Consultant
Amber Paige, a native Texan from Amarillo, joined the TSBS team in October 2007. With a degree in Communications and Business from Texas State University, Amber serves as a Regional Program Director and Sales Consultant for the West Texas area. She is passionate about building strong partner relationships with school districts to guide them in receiving maximum reimbursements through school Medicaid programs.
DAVID HOFFMANSystems Administrator
David Hoffman serves TSBS as our Systems Administrator. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, David is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, graduating in 2012 with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a double major: Management Information Systems & Supply Chain and Operation Management. Previous to TSBS, David started in tech support at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and worked his way into a role with similar responsibilities to his role at TSBS. In addition, David worked in the ecommerce IT field, strengthening his skills and continuing his IT career momentum.
ISSAC TREVINOIT Assistant
From Laredo, TX, Issac relocated to San Marcos to pursue a master's degree from Texas State University. Prior to working on his MBA, he attended school at Texas A&M International University and obtained a bachelor's degree in mathematics and a minor in MIS. It was during his undergrad years when he earned internship experience in programming and data analytics to prepare him for the IT industry.
MARIAH HERRERAExecutive Assistant
With a strong background in customer service, Mariah Herrera is a native Austinite who began working with TSBS in March 2015. She proudly serves TSBS as our Executive Assistant to provide customer support to districts across the state of Texas. Supplied with a broad array of administrative skills, all of the TSBS staff is well-served by Mariah’s always positive attitude and cheerful demeanor.
TOM TAFEL, M.S.Area Director
Tom Tafel is a Medicaid Consultant for TSBS and holds an MA degree in Economic Development from Southern Illinois University as well as an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences. Over his lifetime, Tom has worked as a Peace Corps volunteer in Colombia, a teacher in middle school through university levels, a Texas school board member and as consultant in the Florida schools Medicaid program. The business world has seen Tom active in the positions of plant manager, accountant, consultant and managing general partner. Living and working overseas afforded Tom the opportunity to become fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese and he brings all of these talents to his consulting work in the McAllen, TX branch of TSBS.
ANN C. TAFEL, M.ED.Area Director
A native of McAllen, TX, Ann C. Tafel has earned both a M. Ed in Secondary Guidance and a BA in English and Political Science from the University of Texas-Pan American. With more than twenty-five years in the field of education, Ann has extensive experience with AP, IB, Title I, ESL and LD students in grades six through twelve in Texas. Combining both her overseas educational work in Eastern Europe and South America with her years as co-owner of a family business and responsible for payroll, billing and public relations, Ann brings a global perspective to an integrated slate of educational and business skills. Prior to joining TSBS at the McAllen branch, Ann also worked in the Florida schools Medicaid reimbursement program.
NIKKI PETREProgram Specialist
Nikki Petre, who hails from Kansas City, Missouri, began her Texas adventure in San Antonio in 2003 with her family. After coming to TSBS in 2006 and compiling an impressive depth of SHARS knowledge and policy history with a no-nonsense attitude, Nikki is a respected Program Specialist for the Houston area and Coastal Bend districts. She is passionate about ensuring our clients maintain absolute compliance while guiding them towards maximum reimbursements through school Medicaid programs.
HOLLY WYATTProgram Specialist
Another Texas native from Austin, Holly Wyatt serves as a Program Specialist to our north Texas clients. In January 2014 Holly joined TSBS with a background focused on client relations, sales, and administration. Holly’s principal goals are to manage and increase SHARS reimbursements for her clients while delivering exceptional customer support.
BRITTANY BAKERProgram Specialist
From La Vernia, TX, Brittany Baker, attended Texas A&M University pursuing a major in English Literature. With over seven years of analytical and customer service experience with both Texas A&M and Texas State University in San Marcos, Brittany supplies full service SHARS billing and consulting support to our West Texas clients as well as rigorous software testing skills to every upgrade of TSBS’ systems.
AMY PEEBLESProgram Consultant
Austin native, Amy Peebles, began her career at TSBS in December 2007. Amy serves as a Program Consultant for our South Texas clients. With a keen eye for detail and a solid background in customer service, Amy works closely with our McAllen office to bring her enthusiasm for client satisfaction to TSBS.
LYNDA WALLACEProgram Consultant
As one of the few non-native Texans here at TSBS, Lynda Wallace from Hockessin, Delaware moved to Corpus Christi in 1973. Now a tried-and-true adoptee of the Lone Star state, Lynda provides dedicated Program Consultant support and SHARS services to many of the firm’s South Texas clients. With long-term experience as Senior Billing Clerk and Sales Rep for a metal framing company, Lynda brings her welcoming disposition and business astuteness to each district’s SHARS program.
JASON BRAFFORDProgram Specialist
Originally from San Antonio, J.B. Brafford is located in our Dallas office. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in History with a minor in Economics from Sam Houston State University. With over fifteen years experience in the education field and three-plus in government administration, J.B. joined our team in June 2015 and proudly serves as our Region 8 Program Specialist. JB brings his dynamic and charming personality to serving the great clients of northeast Texas.
JON VEYTIAProgram Consultant
Jon Veytia is a native Texan originally from Dallas. After attending Texas State University in San Marcos and pursuing a major in History and minor in Political Science, Jon continues his work in the educational system serving as an administrator for the SAT and ACT College acceptance testing system. Bringing to TSBS a background in customer service and sales, Jon began his career at TSBS in May 2016. Jon serves as Program Consultant to the TSBS west Texas regions and is dedicated to the goal of ensuring TSBS clients receive the utmost in service and support for their SHARS program.
ELLE DIRECTOProgram Consultant
Originally from Orlando, Florida, Elle Directo joined the TSBS team in October 2016. As a Program Consultant for TSBS, Elle works with clients in our central Texas regions. Graduating from the University of Central Florida in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Human Resource Management, her subsequent experience as an HR Manager fueled her desire to provide outstanding support and assistance to clients and employees alike. Bringing those ambitions to TSBS, Elle is committed to ensuring the continued success of all TSBS district partners.
RANELL DIEHLProgram Consultant
Ranell Diehl, a born and raised Texan from Wimberley, attended Texas State University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Arts and Sciences, with emphasis in education, sociology, and psychology. She is a Program Consultant for TSBS, supporting our central Texas and hill country districts. Her passion for people and serving others, combined with her extensive background in customer relations, is the perfect match for providing excellent service and satisfaction for our clients.
CINDY RASGADOMedicaid Billing Clerk
Cindy Rasgado, originally from Austin, TX, serves TSBS as a Medicaid Billing Clerk to our east and south Texas clients. Cindy joined the TSBS family in September 2008 and offers bilingual training and assistance to all TSBS district partners. Her background before coming to TSBS includes client support and bookkeeping. Cindy is dedicated to the goal of ensuring TSBS clients receive the utmost in service and support for their SHARS program.
KIMBERLY MURCHISONMedicaid Billing Clerk
Kimberly Murchison is a native Texan from Kyle, TX. Kim began her career at TSBS in February 2013. She currently provides client support and assistance as a Medicaid Billing Clerk to our wonderful east and south Texas clients. Kim takes great pleasure in the quality of her claims processing and creating synergy with her team while providing exceptional customer service to her clients.
SAMANTHA KNAPPENBERGERMedicaid Billing Clerk
Samantha Knappenberger, originally from Orange County, California, moved to Texas and graduated from Caney Creek in Conroe, TX. Her passion for helping clients brought Samantha to TSBS to join our customer service department. Sam currently serves TSBS clients as a Medicaid Billing Clerk for our west Texas clients with future plans to return to Texas State University in San Marcos to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Business.
